About Lara

Lara Dawn, with 25 years of teaching experience and a decade dedicated to special education, has an extensive background in supporting children with ADHD, learning disabilities, autism, and more. Her deep understanding and expertise in this field have paved the way for her to create ADHD Village, a unique coaching business aimed at helping moms navigate the complexities of raising children with ADHD.

Professional Credentials

Lara is not only a seasoned educator but also a certified Rapid Relief Technique practitioner and an Accelerated Transformation Method coach. These qualifications enhance her ability to provide effective strategies and support to families dealing with ADHD.

Personal Journey

As a mother of two teenage sons with ADHD and someone who has received a late-in-life diagnosis of ADHD and anxiety, Lara intimately understands the challenges related to executive function skills and their impact on family dynamics and self-esteem. Her personal experiences have fueled her passion and commitment to helping other families.

Mission

Lara's mission is twofold: to ensure her own children do not become negative statistics associated with ADHD and to globally assist other moms in creating nurturing environments where their children can thrive. She aims to redefine ADHD as a design rather than a deficit, promoting homes filled with love, connection, and regulated nervous systems.

Why The ADHD Village

In families with ADHD, there can be a lot of yelling due to nervous system dysregulation, leading to disconnected and damaged relationships. Individuals with ADHD are three times more likely to develop an addiction, and the number one antidote to addiction is connection. According to Dr. Russell Barkley, having an ADHD diagnosis can potentially reduce life expectancy by 12 years due to traits like impulsivity, addiction, broken relationships, depression, poor self-esteem, and not fitting into the school system.

Lara's programs are unique and successful because they prioritize the well-being of the mom first, recognizing that supported and educated mothers are key to their children's success. Her curated methods have brought peace and harmony to families worldwide, replacing chaos with connection.

Signature Program

Warrior Mamas, Lara's flagship one-year group program, is designed to strengthen the bond between mothers and their children. By focusing on the mom's support and education, the program ensures that children with ADHD can reach their highest potential and enjoy a fulfilling family life.
